Het Wollandje, municipality of Alkmaar

Step ashore in the heart of the idyllic De Rijp and explore the area’s many unique places of interest by foot. Don’t miss sights such as the monumental city hall, Raadhuis de Rijp, which was designed by Dutch architect Jan Leeghwater in 1630, the late Gothic church – that almost entirely burned down in a 1654 fire, before being subsequently rebuilt – and the charming former Lutheran church called De Groene Zwaan (The Green Swan), with its neogothic corner turrets. Or if you’re simply after some supplies, look no further!
