Bozenmeertje, Twiske-Waterland leisure authority

The Bozenmeertje (lake), next to the Kerk Ae (lake), is without doubt the deepest body of water in Waterland. When the weather turns, it can get terribly rough – back when all transport was still over water, shippers avoided coming here. There’s even a rumour that the Bozenmeertje is home to a monster, which surfaces to guzzle up a child every once in a while. So be sure to keep an eye out while relaxing on the water!
